Dayshift

A couple of people were off to attend training this week so I got to work dayshift today, and I get to again tomorrow. Dayshift is my least favorite shift, I hate getting up early, the work itself on dayshift is pretty mundane, but at least I am home in the evening. Tonight I got home early enough to eat a good home cooked meal and watch a movie with the kids.

On dayshift you spend the day working accidents and taking reports. I managed to avoid the accidents today but only because I was busy taking other reports. Between all the report calls I managed to arrest a guy for warrants and find a non reported runaway that was skipping school. The runaway cried like a baby sitting in my backseat. That was the easy part for him, I think momma was gonna make sure he wouldn't be sitting anywhere for a while.
